Westfield Style Tour

It was a rainy day here in San Francisco but we decided to still venture to the shopping mall as there were a few things we needed for upcoming Halloween costumes (those pics will come next weekend!!!). Westfield San Francisco was hosting a ‘Westfield Style Tour‘ that featured key stylists giving fashion consultations, as well as makeup artists giving free makeovers! And Project Runway’s very own Christopher Collins was at the event meeting fans and giving fashion advice!  I met with one of the stylists and was asked to categorize my fashion in one of these 4 key areas:

1) Uptown Glam – A classic style that is more lady-like and less edgy, but always pulled together. Your wardrobe is full of feminine details and shapes.

2) Urban Romantic – You have an inherent sense of incorporating the right trends in an effortless and authentic way. This laid back approach means you aren’t afraid to mix and match to create a unique look.

3) Stylish Chic – You prefer to be polished and stay away from the looks that are too busy. Less is more, solids or muted prints suit you best and an empire waistland keeps you look streamlined.

4) Trendsetter – You can pull off a runway to real life looks with gusto, because your attitude matches your profile. You’re ahead of the fashion curve!

I would say that my fashion can vary day to day, but if I had to describe it – I love a stylish but simple look dressed with accessories (I am HUGE fan of having at least one really nice “investment” piece, whether that’s your Marc Jacobs or your Bottega Veneta handbag or a really nice pair of boots – i’m liking a lot of the Frye boots out right now and Corso Como boots (in tan leather!).  At this particular event, I was told to choose one of the categories above and I definitely gravitate to ‘Stylish Chic’ sometimes mixed in with some uptown glam.

What is your ‘style’ category??!

It was a great event – thanks to Westfield and the designers!  Enjoy the photos below!
