Neiman Marcus Red Tie Gala

Yesterday I started off my Friday morning with coffee in hand and was excited that the weekend was quickly approaching!  I was honored to receive an email from my good friend Gina, inviting my husband and I to the Neiman Marcus Red Tie Gala in San Francisco – we were thrilled to be able to experience a benefit gala and enjoy an evening with friends!

It was a cold rainy night here in San Francisco and we hailed a taxi to Union Square. As we pulled up to Neiman Marcus, you could see the streets filled with women in beautiful red and black dresses and men in tux’s or black suits with a red accent – some wearing red bow ties, red ties and red vests.  We were greeted as we entered Neiman Marcus by the lovely hostess and made our way downstairs to start the evening! Let me rewind to give an overall picture of what this event entailed – every single floor of Neiman Marcus had live bands, many, many different tables set up with exquisite food from different parts of the world and multiple bars on each floor – serving specialty drinks, champagne, whiskey tastings and more!  We ate food then dessert then more food to more desserts, trying everything from Thai rolls, pumpkin ravioli, to chocolate truffles, caramel filled cookies and more. The fashion was amazing – red just poured through the hallways of the store and being in Neiman Marcus, you couldn’t help but notice the amazing fashion surrounding you (which we had some fun with in the photos below – feathers and fur!)

The event was a beautiful celebration and benefit and we were thankful to have been able to experience the fashion, food, drinks and music.
