On location at one of my favorite places in the world – the San Francisco Ferry Building. It was a balmy 75 degress on this February day. I’m wearing a top from Madewell, H&M short jacket, Rag & Bones ‘Kensington’ skinny & stretch jeans, Halogen ‘Daphne’ oxfords from Nordstrom, and my black Brahmin handbag (various styles), also from Nordstrom.
It was sunny but much colder this day, also on location at the San Francisco Ferry Building. I’m wearing my Anthropologie coat, leopard/chartreuse Nordstrom scarf, dark denim 7 for All Mankind jeans from Nordstrom, GAP patent ankle booties, my black ‘Transport Tote’ from Madewell and a grey Goorin Bros hat.
Strolling around Berkeley and discovered this fabulous warehouse. I’m wearing my ripped Zara jeans, Nordstrom blouse and Nordstrom sweater (from last season and one of my favorite layering pieces!), Urban Outfitters gold feathers necklace, Anthropologie sunglasses and my black Brahmin handbag
It was a hot, muggy day in Colorado for our friend’s wedding which meant something simple and light. I wore this beautiful, flowy Zara skirt, with a simple black tank from Nordstrom paired with my black ‘Transport Tote’ from Madewell and Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses.
Adam Tucker oxfords; Rag & Bone distressed skinny jeans; Zara coat with leather accents; Trouve silk black blouse from Nordstrom; Brahmin bag and Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses. On location in Rockridge in front of a beautiful bright purple door.
On location in front of Box & Bells in Oakland.

The Trappist in Oakland. Amazing beers on tap.
Fall is definitely in the air here in San Francisco! We have been having our fabulous Indian Summer but there is a nice crisp in the air especially in the mornings and evenings that remind me of Fall and Winter, and I love it. We took a few photos outside at our Clocktower Loft this weekend and I love this comfy but stylish outfit – great for the weekend. Sweater is very soft and cozy with a leather accent around the neck and down the sleeves – by Vince Camuto at Nordstrom. Jeans have a worn look and are from Zara (in Lyon, France!) and my favorite style of shoes – oxfords – these are Franco Sarto, the ‘Andes’ flat from Nordstrom.
My favorite time of the year for many reasons is Fall but mostly because of fashion. I love Fall clothes. In my opinion, it is the most fashionable season. From amazing coats, sweaters, blazers, fur, boots, leather jackets, scarves, etc. You can create a very stylish yet cozy and casual look. Nordstrom is having their best sale of the year – pre-sale for Fall! I found this amazing 100% cashmere wrap and loved the color block. Perfect with white jeans now and dark jeans in the winter. It is very cozy and pairs well with a belt wrapped around the piece.
On location at our Clock Tower Loft.
A fabulous day in Wine Country with my husband and a much needed away for us together! I wanted to be stylish (as always) 😉 but comfortable. I wore my white jeans from Nordstrom, green tank from H&M, Zara sandals, Theory blazer, and a silver necklace that Nigel got me for my 30th birthday from a cute Parisian store in SOMA.
What I Wore: Theory blazer (Bloomingdales); Black & White striped tank-top (H&M); Rag & Bones Jeans (Bloomingdales); Sandals (Zara); Marc by Marc Jacobs cross-body bag; Chanel sunglasses.
Nigel (my husband) and I visit the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market almost every single Saturday morning. It’s quite an amazing routine and I feel extremely lucky to be able to wake up and walk to this iconic and beautiful spot in SF – one of my favorites. As we approach the Ferry Building we head straight for the outside Blue Bottle coffee kiosk and wait in the line (which moves fairly fast). On a 75 degree day like today, I went for the New Orleans Style Iced Coffee. New today to the market is Craftsman & Wolves! They have a spot in the Mission on Valencia street and will now have a stand at the market – awesome. We shared the infamous “Rebel Within” which is an asiago-cheese, green onion, and Easton sausage-flecked muffin with a poached egg in the center and it is quite amazing!
We did our usual route through the entire market and this is one of my favorite times of the year – beautiful flowers and cherries and strawberries! From here, we walked up market to brunch at Bluestem Brasserie and then onto the SFMOMA which closed in a month for a long (but what will be an amazing) renovation.
What a beautiful California weekend! I am very thankful for sunny skies and warm, yet crisp, weather. We spent all day Saturday on a hike, starting at one of my favorite SF spots – the Lyon Steps in Pacific Heights. Just going up those stairs once is an amazing workout and a stunning view at the top to make it all worth it. From there, we weave into the Presidio, past the new Presidio Inn, onto the Ecology trail. You all of a sudden are in the woods yet hundreds of feet from the city. The trail then takes you through the Presidio Golf Course and down Park Trail to Crissy Field. Nearly 8 miles later, ending up at the Palace of Fine Arts.
Today, we ventured across the bridge to Oakland, starting with brunch at Pican Restaurant. We indulged in fried chicken eggs Benedict, a philly waffle and biscuits. Everything was delicious and we didn’t feel too bad since we spent the day before hiking and the morning riding nearly 5 miles on the bike at the Y. Oh – we also had the Bourbon Bloody Mary with bacon and shrimp 😉 I wore my bright red pants from Jeremy’s Department Store in South Park, paired with an eagle t-shirt from Lucky Brand and my Banana Republic Blazer. And last but not least, sandals from Zara. We then drove 10 miles down the road to Montclaire – a very cute neighborhood of Oakland. Tree-lined streets and up the hill, houses amongst the redwood trees! Definitely a great spot for some fashion photos.
For the Sunday Bundt Cake, I went with the Maple Walnut. I love how maple syrup reminds me of mornings growing up and the weekends. A lazy day around the house enjoying homemade pancakes or waffles with maple syrup. The walnuts are toasted and then added to the bundt cake and it’s finished off with a maple glaze.
